Introduction

Devdraft’s Customer Management feature is your central hub for tracking customer activity who’s buying, how often, and how much they’re spending. It gives you visibility into every relationship and helps you segment and engage your buyers more effectively.

What is Customer Management?

The Customers section provides a unified view of all your buyers, along with key metrics including:

  • Total Customers

  • Active Customers

  • Blacklisted Customers

You'll be able to:

  • View detailed purchase history

  • Analyze spending patterns

  • Manage customer relationships across their lifecycle

Accessing the Customer Dashboard

To get started:

  1. From the left sidebar, click on Customers.

  2. You’ll be taken to the customer dashboard with an overview of insights and engagement metrics.

Adding a New Customer

To manually add a customer:

  1. Click Add Customer in the top-right corner.

  2. Fill in the required fields:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Email

    • Phone Number

  3. Choose a Customer Type:

    • Individual

    • Startup

    • Small Business

    • Medium Business

    • Enterprise

    • Non-Profit

  4. Click Add Customer to save.

Classifying customers by type allows you to group and target them more effectively for marketing, outreach, or reporting.

Customer Profiles and Management

Once a customer is added, you can:

  • View their profile page

  • Track their purchase history

  • See total spend and transaction frequency

  • Generate payment links directly from their profile

You can also edit customer details or update their status (active, blacklisted, etc.) directly from the customer list.

Use Cases

DevDraft’s customer tools are ideal for businesses that want to:

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

  • Track repeat buyers and loyalty

  • Segment customers by size or type

  • Prepare for targeted marketing campaigns

  • Automate invoicing and payment workflows (covered in future guides)
